Collected Poems (Vol. I)
Traces, Light-Prints (volume 1) is a cycle of diptychs and triptychs written over a long stretch of time. More than a volume of collected poems, it’s a relevant bridge established between the author’s earlier and more recent works, a unifying opus and poetic vision patiently honed, brought into focus and driven.
Kairos would have it that this is the book I was writing and being written by all along—tentatives (come alight), gathered and bound by their guiding threads—different levels of momentum, perception, and complementarity coalescing into a dynamic field, into what I consider to be one body of work—on the one hand, a template, and on the other “the law of my poetry” (as Whitman would say)—taking shape.
